Women’s bodies go through significant changes across life, from pregnancy and post-partum recovery to the hormonal transitions of midlife and menopause. Women’s Health Physiotherapy focuses on supporting you through these stages with personalised, evidence-based care that helps you move well and feel strong.
At Peak Physio & Fitness, Women’s Health Physiotherapy is delivered by experienced physiotherapists with a special interest in female health, movement, and long-term wellbeing. Our approach is centred on understanding you — your symptoms, your goals, and the demands of your daily life. Whether you’re preparing for birth, recovering after having a baby, or looking to maintain strength and function through menopause.
We aim to provide:
Care plans are always individual and can evolve as your body and needs change.

Pregnancy and the post-partum period place unique demands on the body. Women’s Health Physiotherapy can help support you during this time by focusing on movement, strength, and recovery.

We work with you at your pace, whether you’re newly post-partum or further along your recovery journey.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect strength, joint health, energy levels, and how your body responds to exercise. Physiotherapy during this stage can help you stay active, resilient, and confident.
Our focus is on:
The aim is to help you feel strong, informed, and supported in your body.

Women’s Health Physiotherapy at Peak Physio & Fitness is led by Debbie and Suzie, two experienced physiotherapists with backgrounds in both NHS and private practice.
They have a shared special interest in supporting women through key life stages, particularly pre- and post-partum care and maintaining strength, confidence, and function through menopause. Their combined experience allows them to take a thoughtful, evidence-based approach while recognising the real-life demands placed on women’s bodies.
As this service continues to develop at Peak, Debbie and Suzie will be leading its growth to ensure it remains clinically robust, supportive, and responsive to the needs women in the Conwy County area.
If you’d like to find out whether Women’s Health Physiotherapy is right for you, or to discuss your individual situation, please get in touch — we’re always happy to talk things through.
